The Dinner was a success!

SFT had a wonderful turn out at the dinner on the 26th. There were past students there as well as those who were unfamiliar with the program.  Phil Sanders gave an excellent speech about allowing God to make us what He wants us to become, and he also told the story about his uncle Kurt and the baptism of Jeffery Dahmer.

 SFT also got a speaking opportunity that night.  There will be presentations at Seigel Middle School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee this friday. Thank you everyone who volunteered and participated.

A Tribute to a Man of Men

 I never will forget the first time I noticed this man. It was in Bible class at church. He sat as a student in class, but when he opened his mouth to make a comment all I noticed was an emblem of peace and wisdom and a man of God. His presence of peace almost made me melt. I remember thinking, “Who is this man? I have to meet him.” Each comment he made thereafter, each prayer he prayed, each time he spoke, each time I came into his presence, each time I sat at his feet as a student I was in awe of the wisdom and peace that permeated his life and the genuineness of his character. SFT Loses a Loved One

Ron Wilkins, the founder of SFT Awareness, passed away last night.  He has helped many others in his life learn to remove emotional pain and addiction from their lives.  This is a sad moment but also a glorious one since Ron was a child of God.   He looked forward to the day he could spend eternity with God.

Success at Greenville church of Christ

SFT held a workshop, Saturday, at Greenville church of Christ.  The following day they had Ron Wilkins come back out and teach Sunday school and also preach for worship.  SFT gained a lot of new students because of this workshop and also will be conducting group training sessions this summer at Greenville.  SFT continues to gain ground in East Tennessee thanks to GOD!  Thank you Greenville for allowing us to come out!
