Thinking Error Update

June 16, 2008

error-1.jpgWe have added thinking error number 16 to the list of errors.  This new error is called avoiding should statements.  The reason that this error has been added is due to several factors. One is because using it can allow a person to set them self up for failure. For example, a person may say in their personal self talk, “If I treat other people the right way, then they should treat me well also.”  Looking at the statement from this view point, it can be seen that people do not always do what they should. Will SFT be Adding Cowboy Country?

May 21, 2008

Montana mountainWe just finished the workshop in Butte, Montana.  It was a great success and will probably offer more opportunities for SFT.  For example, a young man named Chase Walters has been trained, and may be taking students soon.  Keep this in your prayers.

Also, thank you to the Walters family for taking care me during my stay in MT.

The Dinner was a success!

April 28, 2008

dinning.jpgSFT had a wonderful turn out at the dinner on the 26th. There were past students there as well as those who were unfamiliar with the program.  Phil Sanders gave an excellent speech about allowing God to make us what He wants us to become, and he also told the story about his uncle Kurt and the baptism of Jeffery Dahmer.

SFT also got a speaking opportunity that night.  There will be presentations at Seigel Middle School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee this friday. Thank you everyone who volunteered and participated.

SFT Loses a Loved One

April 10, 2008

HeavenRon Wilkins, the founder of SFT Awareness, passed away last night.  He has helped many others in his life learn to remove emotional pain and addiction from their lives.  This is a sad moment but also a glorious one since Ron was a child of God.   He looked forward to the day he could spend eternity with God.

Ron we love you, miss you, and look forward to worshiping God side by side with you in heaven. Read more

Success at Greenville church of Christ

April 4, 2008

SFT held a workshop, Saturday, at Greenville church of Christ.  The following day they had Ron Wilkins come back out and teach Sunday school and also preach for worship.  SFT gained a lot of new students because of this workshop and also will be conducting group training sessions this summer at Greenville.  SFT continues to gain ground in East Tennessee thanks to GOD!  Thank you Greenville for allowing us to come out!

SFT adds another trainer!

March 5, 2008

Ben Lambeth was like many others who went through life without contentment and peace of mind.  He saw a man one day at a gas station that appeared to have that peace he was looking for.  When he introduced himself to the man, he found that this man was none other than SFT founder Ron Wilkins. From there Ben was taught how to have that peace that passes understanding (Phil 4:7) that he was looking for.  Read more
