Costa Rica Update

We would like to update our supporters on our international efforts.  At least a year ago Steven Guerrero contacted me to get SFT Awareness in Costa Rica. For 7 days in October Jimmy Hill, Sara Leitnaker, and I traveled to Sabanilla, Costa Rica to train people in how to remove emotional pain. Read more

New International Opportunities

SFT Awareness was taken to Costa Rica during the first week of August. I was blessed to work with a church in Sabanilla and, by the power of God, many things were accomplished. While in Costa Rica I resided in Sabanilla which is on the outskirts of San Jose. I stayed with Steven Guerrero who is the preacher of the Sabanilla church of Christ. Steven arranged the trip for SFT to be brought to his church and acted as translator for me. Read more

Costa Rica Here We Come!

Jimmy Hill is leaving to go to Costa Rica on August 3rd.  There he will be teaching people and missionaries how to recognize and remove emotional pain, depression, and addiction.  He will be working directly with Stephen Guerrero.  This will make our second international trainer. Read more

SFT’s New Niche

SFT Awareness is now in the process of doing work in several prisons in the Nashville area.  Heading that effort up is Scott Edwards.  Scott has recently completed his training and is looking forward to this chance to teach others how to remove emotional pain. Of course SFT will still offer one on one training as well as seminars.

We had a wonderful weekend in Gatlinburg!

Our second annual SFT awareness retreat was a success. There were 7 over all in attendance. Goals were announced such as having a SFT trainer in every major U.S. city in 20 years. Plans were also discussed for goals for this year. Next year we hope to see even more trainers added to the list. Thank you Ben for allowing us to stay in your cabin.

Preacher workshops are availabe in India!

Dharma, our first overseas trainer, has had his first workshop.  He has three more planned for this month as well as one in December.  Keep up the good work Dharma.

SFT is going International!

Recently I had a guest from India come to the class that was being held at Burnette Chapel. His name is P. Dharma Swarup and is back in India now establishing a program there. Dharma currently holds preacher workshops for over 300 preachers and intends to continue these workshops while teaching SFT. Read more

Our very own Ben Lambeth has had the opportunity to work with a young man who decided to get baptized.   We congratulate this young man on his decision.

Thinking Error Update

We have added thinking error number 16 to the list of errors.  This new error is called avoiding should statements.  The reason that this error has been added is due to several factors. One is because using it can allow a person to set them self up for failure. For example, a person may say in their personal self talk, “If I treat other people the right way, then they should treat me well also.”  Looking at the statement from this view point, it can be seen that people do not always do what they should.
